What is Maestro? |
|
Maestro is a Visual Control Panel for the Asterisk PBX system. Through Drag/Drop
or direct commands, Maestro allows the user to control actual objects within the
PBX system in real-time. Start conferences, switch conference attendees between
conferences, answer incoming calls, redirect existing calls, add remove queue members,
"Grab" calls, etc.
Because Maestro delegates its functionality to the Asterisk Manager Interface and
Dialplan plan logic, Maestro's functionality is limited only by current and future
AMI and dialplan functionality as well as your own imagination.

Maestro at a Glance |
|
|
Powerful Scripting to Ultimate Flexibility - In addition to standard AMI Packets, Maestro supports PascalScript, C++Script, JavaScript and BasicScript
syntax for designing powerful event scripts in your favorite language.
Flexible Event Driven User Interface - Easy and simple scripts
that you write are used to determine 100% of Maestro's functionality and that's
limited only by current functionality found in the AMI and Asterisk dialplan logic.
Variable Substitution - Important variables are made available
to your scripts. Access variables like the "Channel", "LinkedChannel", Device ID, etc directly from scripts adding another level of power and flexibility.
Variables can even be sent to the Asterisk Dialplan as Channel Variables!
Now you can transfer "state" between Maestro and your own Dialplan Logic.
User Prompts - Maestro also allows you to create Prompts that are
executed before the actual Manager Action. These allow you to solicit values
from the user that can be used in your scripts as well have these variables transferred
to the Asterisk dialplan to manage state between Maestro and your own dialplan logic.
Easy, Simple Graphical User Interface - Easy to use for
both integrators
and especially their users.
